getting back up again

Hello friends,

Lately, I have been feeling a bit blue. That's been due to a lot of worries being built up over time, finally released in a tear-fest. But that isn't what this post is about. It is about the people who (will) knock you over just because you're "soft-spoken" or "easier to challenge". Something like this happened to me today. It's not fair. It's plain rude. But it happens. It's not about being selfish or hard-shelled. It's mostly about gaining confidence in your decisions and roadblocks will pop up: them.

Want to know what I say?

Don't let them be the reason you quit, feel discouraged, or give in. You want to know why? There will always be someone on your side, no matter what the situation. And sometimes, that someone may be the least expected person to come to your rescue.

Who are them?

     Your friends, sibling, teachers, etc.
I'm sure everyone has heard of the quotes: "Trust no one" and "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer". As for the first one, I don't think it has much of a positive outlook--especially when looking to be a optimistic person. It's important to be open, not closed-minded! As for the second one, that can only go so far. Both you and your enemy have swords and at the same distance from each other. It's about who has the guts to make the first strike and not always the best technique... the quote itself is a double edge sword.

Pretty much, the point I'm trying to get across is: If someone pushes you to the ground, get right back up again and shock em' ! Show them they were in the wrong! Be fierce!

  1. I think this is very true and sometimes being outspoken even when it's not in your usual character helps. Congratulations on winning a Liebster Award. I recently won one and was so happy.
Would you like to follow each other on GFC? I'm following you now :) Would you like me to follow you anywhere else? xx
